Drumzout 2011 Auditions Judge

19 March 2011 @ IMM Sky Garden

James was recently invited to be on the judging panel of Drumzout 2011, a nation-wide percussion competition organised by Nanyang Technological University. Along with Damien Lim, a renowed percussionist and educator in Singapore, they graded the different catergories Tertiary, Open and Secondary.

The theme of DrumZout 2011 is “Freestyle”, where they encourage participants to use percussion instruments to express their music to the audience in never-tried-before ways to express a sense of freedom and vibrancy.

An extraordinary fight was put up by all the teams on 19 March. Understanding themselves and their opponents better after the clash, the teams will be meeting again on stage at the finals on 26th June 2011.
