The first steps taken in learning a new skill are the most important because you are forging a new pathway. Whenever you let yourself practise something incorrectly, you are developing an incorrect habit.
Since the school's founding, one of its primary goals has been to provide drum education through inspiring and contemporary programmes. Drummers come to MDS from every age group in Singapore, and as a result, MDS offers the most comprehensive drum programmes in Singapore.
MDS offers the following courses:
Semester
We provide comprehensive semester programmes for drummers who are serious about learning drumming and are committed to practising regularly.
We invite anyone with or without musical background to enrol in our semester programmes. Courses are conducted on a weekly basis with a teacher-student ratio of one drum educator to one student. We also offer group classes for the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Programmes.
Each course consists of levels with about 24 modules lasting for a period of about 6 months. An assessment will be conducted at the end of each level to evaluate the progress of the student. Students are required to complete the assessment before proceeding to the next level.

Electives
At MDS, we have electives that are specially designed to meet drummers' specific needs. These courses are targetted to educate our students who are seeking a specific technique or an area of development in drumming.

Corporate Services Programme
We organise team-building activities that creates discipline and unity.
Several organisations come to us because we offer something that is different from other event companies. We incoporate music into fun and bonding! We have served schools and companies like Pats Schoolhouse, Colgate Singapore, Accor Services, Henry Park Primary School.

Holiday Pack Programme
Do you have a school holiday coming up? Do you want to have an intensive crash-course on drumming and experience what it is like to be on the drums?
We designed a 8-Module fast-track programme for all students who can only afford to learn drums in a short period of time. Customise your modules by having lessons at your own pace (e.g 2-3 times per week).
